... and now she's eating her regular kibble, but she's turning her nose up toward a/d, the supposedly nummy prescription high-calorie food. *shrug* Lots of kibble it is, then.

I'm still going to torture her to put the antibiotics in her mouth, though. I think that's what's helping her feel better.

Don't think of it as torture, you're helping her! The key is to have confidence when giving her the medicine. Animals can sense your fear, and that's why she's nervous when you're giving her the medicine. I watch a lot of Animal Planet, and when vets are giving animals medicine, the animals are calm, because the vets are calm.

It's hard to be confident when she's obviously so stressed. Afterward, I usually just cry for a while.
